Default WTF.. Rear brake pad has no wear?

So I finally get enough money and time to go over my entire brake and shocks package that I did from last year and notice that my rear brake pads haven't worn at all. My fronts were worn down to the point that I have to change the rotors, but something must be wrong here?! How could the fronts wear down so much with the rears not even being touched?

I didn't notice any abnormal braking behavior also.

Oh, and it's been a year since I changed the last set of pads and rotors.

I don't know, but look at it this way. You don't need line lock!

by the nature of the weight shift the front brakes do the majority of the stopping and take the most abuse. BUT you could also have some air in the brake line to the rear brakes or passenger side that is causing those brakes to see less pressure and make your driver side do most of the work. on my piece of crap college car i had a rust hole in one brake line that disabled 3 of the 4 brakes and made the #4 brake do all the work. just a thought...

When you changed the brakes did you check the brake pins that the calipers ride on and check the boots that cover them? There could have been a tear in the boot allowing the pin to rust into place.
