Quick question first of all I have a LT1 car and I was a pick-A-part today and there was a 99 v6 camaro sitting right next to a 95 LT1 car both missing front tires and I noticed the 99 v6 car had brakes that are bigger than the lt1 setup. I wanna swap out and need to know if they are the same.

Yea the 98-02 V6 brakes are the same as the 98-02 LS1 brakes.

Depending on what sort of racing you are doing, and if I am right about where you are taking this idea, v6(98+)/ls1 brakes could be a great upgrade.

theyre bigger because all LS1 era f-bodies have bigger brakes then all LT1 era cars. V8/V6 are the same.
