Default LS1 brakes on LT1 rearend?

I bought an LT1 rearend for my car. Lt1 has 3.42 gears mine has 2.73. I just want a clear answer. Do i need LT1 brake calipers pads and rotors or will my Ls1 brakes transfer to the LT1 rear end? thanks for the help.

your LS1 brakes will work on that rear. It's recommended you use the axles out of the LS1 rear though, there is an ~1/8" difference between the LS1 and LT1 axles. In my experience, the LT1 axles will still work since the rotor still falls between the caliper bracket (although off center) but if you have the LS1 axles you want to use them.
