Default UMI- Love the parts

Pretty much like the title says. Received all my new rear suspension components today including the tranny crossmember/ torque arm relocation bracket. Everything is top notch. No matter what others have told me the chromoly was definitely the way to go. The rod ends are beautiful also. One other pont worth mentioning is this company takes the time to actually speak with customers on the phone and answer questions no matter how dumb they may be. Parts arrived in 2 days pretty much like quoted not 4 weeks maybe, like some others. Can't wait to install when the weather here finally breaks. My vote definitely goes to UMI. Thanks again. Chris

My entire rear suspension save for springs and shocks is UMI parts. I also used to run their STB. Great quality/fitment on the parts and I've been impressed by their customer service on a couple different occasions. Speaking of which...I have a set of their SFCs also that will be going in very soon

99.9% of the time, Ryan THE OWNER answers questions on the boards.

That tells me 2 things.

1) He's more than just a fabricator, he's one of us. He knows what works and how it works and what it's supposed to do, from experience, not from cue cards.

2) He cares enough about his customers that he's willing to spend his OWN time, not some time from a hired hand. That's dedication.

When was the last time Steve Spohn or Brett Rockey came on here and answered a question or just said thanks for buying my parts?

For me, that's why UMI stands head and shoulders above the competition.

The worst part is that I have to walk up to their tent at Carlisle and every year I gotta buy something else for my Chevelle and the Camaro!

Thank you Mitch ... this is a hobby for me and not just a business. I love it... although it can be stressful and a lot of work operating the company I still make sure I sit down and talk with the customers... this is what I enjoy. Even with added sales staff I still can't get away, lol

You were one of our first customers 6 years ago and I appreciate the business! We have grown significantly since that time. We now operate out of a 14,000 square foot facility located on 3 acres of ground and now I employee (20) hardworking dedicated employees who are on mandatory overtime right now

Wow ... has it been that long? I am getting OLD!!!
It was just you and one other guy, IIRC, working out of a addition to your Dad's fab shop.

FWIW ... And those parts are still on that same race car. It turned a 1:27.xxx at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson this afternoon, coming in 5th in class in race 2.

Wanna see what those parts go through?

New style tires and we missed the air pressures badly! Ask any one who is running the new Toyo R888s. Car was on ICE!

Maybe you should stop selling such great parts. At this rate, I won't have to buy any more.
