Default Sway bar upgrade

How much of an increase in size do you need to go before you will notice an improvement. If I currently have a 30mm, is it worth going to a OEM 32 hollow or should I go bigger? Has anyone gone from a 30 to a 32? Cost is a factor but even a good deal isn't a good deal if there is no gain in performance. Also do sway bars wear over time?

If you do a oem hollow 32 front bar with poly d-bushings and endlinks, and then put poly d-bushings and endlinks on the stock rear 19mm bar it makes a great budget upgrade until you have a couple hundred dollars to spend on sway bars.

The WS6 came with the 32mm hollow front so you are fine. Upgrading from the 30mm to the 32 and polly bushings and endlinks is a really great upgrade for the money. The 32/19mm swaybar setup is more balanced than the 30/19. Basically it helps get rid of a bit of understeer that is present in the stock non SS/WS6 cars.

Thanks, sounds like a plan...You can get 32's relatively cheap even new for $60-70. I was contemplating upgrading the rear to a 21 but I'll keep it as is now.

The 21mm really isn't that well balanced with the 32mm anyway. It is much better matched with a 35m front. You may want to check TAcreations out. They tend to have them used really cheap.

Thanks for the tip. I checked out TA creations and they have the 32mm bar. I guess my only question is, do sway bars wear? Is it better to by new or doesn't it matter?
