Default Wheel turns left and right while hard braking

So yesterday a pressed on the brakes a little harder than normal coming from 55mph, and noticed that my steering wheel started turning by itself from left to right, repeatedly until I came to a stop. There were other times this has happened, but this was the only time I had to actually counter the turns to stay in my lane. Why would my car do this?

^^ Agreed, i have the same problem. I just feel the steering wheel begin to shake back & forth from about 65mph or higher when slowing down. Asked on here awhile back, they told me it was warped rotors.

Warped rotors or there is some uneven brake pad material stuck on the rotor. Last ditch effort (ONLY if all mechanical parts check out and caliper is in proper working condition!!) is (if you have enough pad life left) brake the **** out of it to try and clean/even out the rotor surface. I was actually able to fix a problem similar to the one you have by autocrossing my car. Resurfaced the rotors real good. lol. Sounds like yours is pretty bad though. If it pulled you hard enough to change lanes I would definitely inspect the caliper and pads anyways.

Its the rotors. Resurface them or replace.
