Default EIBACH vs BMR springs??

Well right now i have some eibach springs on my car that had been installed when i bought it. it sits pretty low. it looks ok, but i scrape alot even when i slow wayway down to go over bumps.and it rides pretty stiff. but im very aware of how low it is so i drive it with care and all. but i was thinking of buying some BMR springs to see if i could tell a difference in the ride quality and how high it sits. PICS would be nice.

Our springs dont drop the car as low as the eibachs and arent as stiff. Gimme a sec and ill put a link in here to some pics.

With long tubes I think most people will scrape once in a great while at least. Possibly more depending on the shocks you have, how low the LT's go, plus other factors. Shocks will control the impacts better. You should definitely get a good set of shocks, but I know not everyone wants to spend money on them Here's some spring specs:

LT1 Eibach rates: 377-600 front and 94-160 rear
LS1 Eibach rates: 400 front and 80-137 rear
BMR 1G rates: 310-550 and 145-170 rear

LT1 Eibachs have supposedly better quality control and better springrates for their ride height. LS1 springs seem to have inconsistent ride heights from reading about them over the years and less springrate, which is why a lot of us recommend LT1 kit over the LS1 kit even for the LS1 fbody. Lower ride with lower rate will take less force to compress and you will impact the bumpstops faster in the same conditions. BMR 1G springs appear to ride a tad bit higher and have a hair less front rate and a hair more rear rate than LT1 Eibach springs. BMR 2nd gen springs coming out soon seem pretty close to Strano spring max rates but will be progressively wound quite a bit differently.

If that's a WS6, people have reported better ride quality swapping out the spacer + square rear bumpstops for the z28 triangular stops. They provide better cushioning and a less snappy rear at the edge of traction.

I have been wanting to do this exact swap but I have no money for BMR's springs. I wanted this first batch but now their gonna make a new set and the new ones will be lower and I do not want that. Also I think they are almost out of the first set so looks like I will have to look for other 1" drop springs.

i went from eibachs to bmrs with an lq4 (+90lbs)and lts. as long as you go slow over bumps you will have no problems. they are great springs and give the car a great ride height for being lowered.

Can you expand a bit more regarding the swapping of the spacer and the square rear bumpstops? Im curious to know exactly what you're talking about because Id be interested in finding something to help the super stiff/rough ride that a lower car usually posseses
