well i was putting my bmr lowering springs on and found out that one of my shocks it shot... i was wanting to get new shocks anyways so no time like the present... Right now i have the bmr 1.25'' lowering springs and some adjustable bmr lower control arms with relocation brackets if that means anything... I do alot (*cough*) street racing (*cough*)... What kind of shocks should i get... ay kind of info helps.. bad or good...

konis would be the number 1, then i would say bilsteins, then KYB

I'd change that previous recommendation up slightly.

#1 Koni's hands down. Good compression setting, wide adjustable rebound range for too soft or too stiff. Great warranty, great build quality, etc... Ride quality can only be better than the next option given you adjust correctly.. if it's not then you adjusted the shock wrong

#2 KYB AGX's not the other crap. These aren't even close to Koni's because you'll probably never get the ideal compression and rebound setting with one **** that controls both. Worse build quality, KYB won't back up their warranty if you use lowering springs.

Bilstiens won't be valved to dampen aftermarket springs appropriately. I'd get the strano spec Bilstiens for a stock spring car that I just wanted a stock replacement shock for... note I'd get Konis for almost every application for this car.

If you are doing a lot of drag racing then you might want to look at the Strange single or double adjustables.

i too might be in the market for new shocks but i do street driving with more autocross than drag racing. I currently have hotchkis lowering springs and bilsteins, and it rides and handles good?...i guess,suggestions please. thanks!

ok.. well i do more street racing then anything but i rarely do that so it is mostly a DD with some racing on the side... What would yal recommend... i dont know alot about supsension but i know some from what i have learned on here
