Help adjusting Koni's I have a 99 WS6 with Koni adjustable shocks in the front but the shop that installed them left the adjustable window not accesible in order to adjust them. Do I need to completley take off the shocks completley in order to be able to adjust them? :bang: |
Is one of the spring coils covering part of the adjustment window or did they install them with the window towards the inside of the wheel well? Either way, I'm pretty sure they're going to have to come off your car in order to position the adjustment window properly. It's a PITA to get it right, but makes adjustments much easier. |
Thanks a lot the window is facing the wheel well I was afraid of this |
Yea, you'll have to pull the shock back out, loosen the upper shock mount nut and then rotate the window so it faces outward. |
Take it back and make them do it, what's the point of paying for adjustable shocks to be installed if the window isn't facing the right direction. If you're not 100% sure, try jacking up one corner and watching in between the coils, mine get in the way when the car is on the ground or completely in the air lol. |
