I personally dont know if they would fit but it says that you need 1 1/4" space minimum between the stock calipers and your wheels for the brembos to fit.

I think that is too much offset though, might need a small spacer if anything.

good luck!

Thanks for the response. From i have figured is that I would need a 5mm spacer or so. i just figured that since these brakes have been out for awhile that someone would have this setup.

I have had the brakes for awhile but have not bought the wheels yet. I managed to get one to fit under the 17" ZR1's that are on the car but did not like how far out i had to space the wheel.

thank you

Yes the C6 spyders will clear since they have a 40mm offset. dont get the ones for camaro/firebird cause the off sdet changes to 53-56mm, then you will need spacers

Has anyone made a list of wheels that will fit without hub spacers? Or with X mm spacer?

I'm looking for this same list. Anyone been keeping a list ?

Most are using C6 ZO6 wheels but you can always go the custom route.

Which C6 Z06 wheel and what are the specs of that wheel ? Any pics of this working ?

The stock oem c6 z06 wheels clear without using any spacers.

With a 5mm spacer would it be necessary to put longer wheel studs on?

the eibach's that i purchased came w/ longer studs. I would say yes you should get some.

What are these calipers worth to sell?

badformulaLS1 12-18-2014 07:48 AM

Will 14" rotors off a gen 1 CTS-V work? Or do they have to be the C6Z rotors? I have a pair of gen 1 V rotors I got for free and can resurface them myself at work... Just would like to know if they are direct bolt on like the Vette rotors?

Empatho 12-18-2014 07:49 PM

cts-v1s are 6 lug not 5, so I doubt it.

Should use a Gen V Camaro SS rotor and have it honed to fit so the entire pad will be on the rotor and the pads will wear evenly.

Oh ok these are not V rotors then cause they are 5 lug. They must be gen 5 Camaro rotors.

blackbyrd 12-19-2014 10:05 AM

If they are 5th gen rotors dont they have slightly different bolt pattern like the GTO's

Yes. They fit, but they won't work if your want to use a larger diameter wheel stud. There is a post on why they are better:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...ss-rotors.html

Why use the 2010 Camaro SS rotors instead of the Z06 rotors?

-So that the pad contact area is correct for the caliper pad combination, unlike the Z06 rotors where there is a substantial difference and over time will create a chamfer on the pads inner edge . Ultimately you are loosing braking performance since less pad is actually contacting the rotor surface.
-Spacer or washers for caliper are not needed. The caliper is perfectly centered over the rotor. This will also help with not needing a wheel spacer in some cases since the caliper is farther away from the wheel spokes. Still no guarantee as there are so many wheel back space options.

Disadvantages:

-You will have to have the center of the rotor that goes over the hub machined out to fit correctly. I took a stock rotor along with 2010 rotors to the machine shop and had them match the bore. I was only charged $20 for the pair.
-Lug pattern does not match perfectly but fit without any issues on stock setup. Still quite a bit of clearance but you may have problems if you went to a thicker over sized lug. Rotor hub thickness was the same as the stock rotors so no need to change lug length unless needed for spacer.

Are the CTS-V and 5th gen Brembos the same Brembos that come on a lot of other cars nowadays? Reason being is in addition to the free gen 5 rotors I also got some free brake pads for a 2013 Infiniti G37. The calipers APPEAR to be the same as what the Vs, and 5th gens have, along with a ton of other cars that I'm seeing the 4 piston Brembo/14" rotors on lately. So do you guys think the pads will work with CTS-V calipers? If they are the same caliper then they should right?

Nice thanks

Make sure you order parts from Flynbye in advance. Ed is not the fastest guy getting them out.
