Wheel offset isn't really a good measurement for judging much clearance you will have for brakes. The reason people give you an offset is that its the closest measurement to the inner wheel clearance. Generally a wheel with a higher positive offset will have more inner wheel clearance for brakes but it will vary depending on the wheel design. Your best bet to find out if you will have enough clearance is to find others who have installed the brakes with the wheels you have/want or to find out if you have a 1 1/4" gap from the stock ls1 brake to the spoke of the wheel.

These wheels fit with no spacers......$104.72 each. Will be running 18x9.5 et38 in the rear.

Just throwing this out there, seems like Baer is making two piece direct fit Z06 rotors this year:

Does anyone know if these will work with miro 111 +44 offset 18x9.5. Also can I get any 14" rotor with the corrector hub center. Or do I need zo6 rotors. Thanks

wheel specs are fine, however spoke shape may be determining factor.

Avoid z06 rotors, pad doesn't make full contact with rotor

None... I haven't made the swap yet. HA

2 off-the-shelf options really:
-c6 z06 rotors as you know (however, you need washers to space the caliper and pads don't make full contact with rotor)
-2010+ camaro rotors (however, you need to machine the hub bore to fit)

I will do the 2010+ rotor and have the bore machined to fit... I don't like the idea of running washers for the calipers nor the pads hanging off the rotor with the c6 rotors

Is everyone just leave the rear completely stock or are they switch rear rotors to?? Can you put larger 14" rotors on the rear with the stock rear calipers???

http://www.kore3.com/tech.php#fitment_templates

Print the template out for the 355mm rotor with Z06 caliper, it is similar in size to the Brembo caliper with a Z06 rotor. If it fits with the template, it will fit on the car. Easy.
No, you cannot put 14" rotors on the back with the stock calipers.....there is not enough clearance and you have to remember there is a drum in the hat of the rotor for your parking brake.

Stock Camaro flex lines fit on the calipers a charm, will most likely order braided lines eventually. needed 2.8 mm of shims to center the calipers.

A bit of paint and elbow grease

Did you ever find a better rotor option for these?

Default Corvette c7 brembo brake setup - ls1

C7 BREMBO BRAKE SWAP - GEN4 FBODY
17'' Wheels

I thought about making a thread of this...... but since we are right on topic with the atsv/c7 calipers....... the answer is YES the c7base 12.6''/320mm rotor fits the ls1 and atsv/c7base brembo caliper with no required washers or hub spacer. Caliper and rotor offset, and hub bore size is a perfect fit. Structurally the c7 rotors are superior to c5 and c6 and the pad run out is correct as the c7 uses the same caliper. This is a solution for those wanting a proper brembo brake kit for 17'' wheels.

I installed these and we can just call it a c7 brake swap that is completely bolt on. The spindle requires the same hole boring for m14 caliper mount bolts. The only spacer required for me was a 12mm hubcentric spacer for my STOCK 17'' zr1s to fit. The barrel clearance on the stock 17'' slp zr1s is around 1/2'' so I can say that most 17'' barrels should fit.

If you want to pm me your email I can forward pics of the fitment. I did PM chester0001 to let him know there is a solution to his problem. Im still not sure why he went ahead and used c5 rotors anyway.

As a side note..... while contemplating rotor sizes.... the c7 z51 should be direct fit to ls1 fbodies with a c5 conversion bracket. The same c7/cadillac brembo calipers can be used as direct fit with the 345mm stingray z51 rotors. Again these cadillac ats/xts brembo calipers are the same as the c7 BASE calipers, 320mm setup. The only difference in part numbers here is paint..... and the c7 z51 brembo caliper has a longer casting to mount a larger rotor, otherwise identical. When you shop caliper part numbers you will see why a c5 conversion bracket would be a far cheaper route for a z51 kit. I am confident the c5 conversion bracket would allow the use of 345mm c7 z51 rotors with these 4piston brembos. 18''+ wheels probably needed.

So in summary:

C7 BASE 320mm:
-ATS/C7 BASE Caliper
-C7 BASE 320mm Rotor
-DRILL spindle holes

C7 Z51 345mm:
-ATS/C7 BASE Caliper
-C7 Z51 345mm Rotor
-C5/C6 brackets

Correct. The conversion bracket would allow the use of 345mm z51 rotors with the base ats/c7 caliper. I think it would be great for someone to do this with z51 rotors. With the clearance I have it may even work with stock 17s.

Guys I think I got lost somewhere. Are you using the camaro SS rotors or the Z06 rotors? Will I have to get them machined (I didn't see this in the write up) ? What size brake line do we need from KORE3

2010 Camaro SS rotors (Autozone has them for around $58.00 each)
*You will need to machine out the center of the rotor to fit your hub. 71 mm I believe......it is in the write up (page 33 top post)

Just call KORE3, tell them what you are doing and they will set you up with the right brake lines.
