how to make my 84 camaro handle drag/track
Hi ls1 tech guys,
What is the best way to make my 84 Camaro Z28 handle on the circuit track and on the drag strip, is there a compromise, what suspension parts do I need ?

A few ideas for you!
Hello
I would recommend going with a set of sub frame connectors to help the chassis solid and I would recommend a Tunnel Mounted Torque Arm seeing how you are going to be doing a lot of racing and it gets the arm off the rear of the trans so you don't have to worry about breaking the rear housing. And I would also suggest going with a set of LCA and relocation bracket to increase your traction and eliminate any wheel hop. Below is a link to show you what UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
Thanks

There is definitely a compromise if you want to go hardcore in both directions. How serious are you in either, and which one would you say is a priority? For one thing, a decently competitive drag setup is going to be terrible for the road track. Maybe borderline unsafe? A minor road race or autox setup can work out ok at the drag strip with a few turns of the front shocks, disco front swaybar endlink, and swap wheels/tires.
There's a long list of parts you could change and they have their pros and cons for each application. This sounds like a long homework assignment and will require you to decide what you consider will be the happy medium for performance in both sports.
