need new rod ends for lca's, QA1's or spohn replacements?

Default need new rod ends for lca's, QA1's or spohn replacements?

my rod ends are shot. i have the original style spohn lca's with the big nut in the middle. should i get qa1's or the spohn replacements?

if qa1, which one?

size listed on spohns site is 3/4"-16 Thread x 3/4" Bore

Probably either one is fine, I'm sure Spohn is using somebody else's heims anyways. I prefer to go with chromemoly heims for added strength. Get the teflon lined ones as they seem to hold up longer and make less noise than metal to metal ones. Something like QA1 XMR12 would be nice, unless you're on a budget and want to spend a little less, then go with a PCMR12T.

They are ~$30 each from Jegs ...

All this is assuming you have 3/4" rod ends on the car now. Some places like BMR has/had 5/8" rod ends and were absolute junk.

Maybe today, but it wasn't always the case. Back when LS1.com was the epicenter of all thing LSx related, I had a HUGE thread about a BMR PHB whose end shattered causing the rear diff to bounce around in the wheel tubs, destroying tires and trashing wheels and inner fenders.

And the OP didn't say what vintage parts he had or manufacturer.

I was just making the point that not all suspension parts are created equal and one size does not fit all.
