SFC and LCA worth it??
I have a 2000 Trans Am and I am planning on getting tubular SFC and Box LCA for it. How much will these help me at the track?? Any ET gain, maybe better 60's???

I don't believe these are first-order improvers. They fix
some flex points. But, is chassis flex really costing you
more from traction effects, than the 30# of weight
(give or take) would?
The 60' times look pretty much like I got on the stock
Goodyears. Traction still a problem with the Nittos?
It's probably more about nose weight and launch
technique, if so. Only if you feel wheel hop do LCAs
become a must-try (along with relocation brackets).
You might get more from an air bag, control that right
wheel lift and keep more traction.
Note I said "must", you can still try them and see...
irrelevance didn't stop me from buying, only from
being motivated to bolt up.

I just had the SFC's installed and they made a pretty big difference. I didn't realize how much the car was flexing until after they were installed. Fewer rattles and the suspension seems to just work better. It was definitely the best thing I've done so far for my car.. I went with the BMR tubular weld in's and I thought they were great...
