Upgrading Rack & Pinion?
 

I am replacing my R&P. My car has the FE2 package, I belive. While I know there is a diffence between the FE2, FE4 and F41 packages, I don't know exactly what it is beyond basic, special handling, and firm ride, respectively. From what I can tell the FE2 and FE4 use the same R&P, but oddly the F41 is consiterably cheaper. Can I replace mine with the F41 or do I have to replace the pump and/or lines (although they seem to use the same)? Is there a benefit in reaction/ratio in doing this?

F41 was on cars delivered w/o Z rated tires. It's 2 3/4 turns lock to lock.

All others are 2 1/4 turns lock to lock.

Either will work.
