Default BMR K member help

Anybody recently installed a BMR K member into their LS1 F body?I just got mine and was wondering if those front post on the front of the k member with that plate on top with the dail pin is suppose to go into the frame rail hole and sit flush ?It looks like it should anyways from BMR 's install pics,,,the way the plate and dail pin is recesed down 3/16 ''Almost like that little bit of the top of that post, shold go into the frame rail hole ,,,which mine is alittle too small for it and im trying to get it in tonight and BMR is closed

No it is not. I called about the exact same thing and they told me it did not have to be in side the frame rail.

Ed, Basspro is correct the tube does not need to go into the frame rail. If you have any further questions let us know.
