Question Jacking With Aftemarket K-Member?

Hey guys....I am wondering, those of you with aftermarket K-member installed on your F-bodys, can you lift the front of the car with a floor jack? (placing the floor jack on the K-member) Or, is that not a good idea?

UMI says that theirs was designed to be jacked on, though you should use a piece of rubber to avoid chipping the powdercoat. BMR says that it will work but it is not recommended. No info on spohn.

Yep, like mentioned you can jack up on ours with no issues. But like recommended using rubber will help prevent powder coat chipping and the jack from slipping.

If you have any additional questions regarding the UMI K-member please ask.

Thank you!

If you have subframe connectors it is much easier to jack it up from that point instead of the k member.
