Default Installed new suspension and can't put my strut tower brace.

I've installed a set of Koni 4/4 and Strano lowering springs. Now I can't put my STB back on!!!! What the heck happened, anyone else run into this problem? If so what did you do to fix it?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put it back on..leave everything kinda loose so it will move around and try it that way.

“Everything kinda of loose” is kind of vague could you be more specific? I had to use new upper strut mount boots because mine were rusted to hell! The stud length of the new upper strut mount boots is a half inch shorter than the stock ones, if that makes any difference.

Hmm that's weird man. You never said anything on facebook? Have you had your strut brace off this entire time?

Kinda loose..as in not tight so you can still move things around.

Knock the Studs out and put Bolts in..that is what I did with mine.

Are you unable to mount the STB because the studs are shorter, or is there another reason?

The studs length is not imparing me from putting the STB back on. But that is a good idea to pop to studs from the top and then put them through. However they are pressed so if unpressed I could run into a problem of the bolt and nut bittin back when I torque it down. I actually already have that problem, damn cheap autozone crap!

Yep I have. Going to look into getting a wonder bar or just getting a massive front sway bar.

Here's what you do: Remove the nuts from both the driver-side and passenger-side studs, on the passenger-side also remove the two bolts. Roughly place the STB over the studs, then with a jack slowly raise up the passenger-side front until your able to get the STB mount holes over the passenger-side studs. Once the STB in on slowly lower the jack while holding the STB down. Now bolt everything back up, you done!

I would probably sell it but I don't meet the requirements to post anything up in the classifieds...

I do plan on trying what was suggested above. But the flanges on the STB seem to have a steeper angle than yours. Oh I've tried believe me the smiley face sums it up pretty good. lol

Your engine bay is so culture free I like IT!!! What all have you done?
