Default Went with Koni 4/3s

I got Koni 4/3s for my 00 t/a. The car has been under the knife for over a month now for engine mods. I had the shop put my Konis on, set the rear to full soft, & front 2 sweeps up from full soft. Is anyone running that setting on stock springs that can share their experience with me? This is the first time i ever did a suspension mod on one of my cars & am really excited to see the results as before, every bump i hit, annoyed me ( I live in PA). I stopped by the shop today to see how far they are coming along with everything & the car with the Konis seemed to still look the same. I had read somewhere they can give u a 3/4" drop? Is that true? Do I need to do something paticular in order to have that? Thanks in advance

you need to tell them to use the lower perch on the fronts if you want the drop. you can also remove the rear spring isolators in the rear and replace them with heater hose for a slight drop in the back.

When new, the Koni SA front shocks come with the lower spring seat snap-ring set into the upper slot/grove, the snap-ring has to be moved down to the lower Slot/grove. This is how you get the 3/4" lowering up front with the stock springs.

Will I have to do it all over again, take the wheel off and disasemble everything? Im pretty sure they didnt do that & I may as well have the 3/4" lower, hell for $800, got to get what i can lol. Anyone care to share their Koni experiences?

yep everything has to come back out and you have to fully disassemble the strut assembly to put the perch on the lower level, that sucks

Figures FML!! Im not even going to start on how many things have went wrong on the car build so far. Finally I think I'm getting it back tomarrow. This is prob comparing apples to oranges, but my dad has a GXP Soltice that rides amazing!! I believe it is on stock belistins. Will my t/a hang with him on back roads with the konis? His car is probably the most impressive i've been in handling wise.

you really need to use the search button. you could have saved yourself much time/money/aggravation if you did some research first. If you got your Koni's from Sam you should have talked to him for all the install/setup info.
