i bought the car as a roller the guy that i got it from said he had an ls1 in it but some stuff seems like its all a v6 car, fuel lines, gauges, gas tank... so im questioning the k-member now... how can you tell its a v6 or a v8 or are they the same thing?

i don't know, i was mocking up my solid motor mounts and they seem like they will fit just fine... i have read something before saying the v6 k-member was different than the ls1???

pretty sure they use the same k-member. just different engine mounts. in the picture the 4 bolt clusters

I am by no means the K member master, but I just had my engine out and that looks the same to me as the one under my LS1.

cant imagine that GM made 2 diff K's.......and while you have your motor out.....turn the rack and pinion bolts upside down.....so you can remove with the engine in........you will thank me later
