Where exactly are my abs sensors located?
I have a 1999 Trans Am, and my abs inop light started coming on. I was told to check my sensors to make sure they aren't too dirty. I know they're on my wheels, but where EXACTLY? Also, what do they look like? Are there any other abs sensors other than the ones on the wheels?

There on the back side of your backing plate ( dust cover) If you have the four channel ABS , They are a round black sensor with a two wire plug on the sensor, and you will need to remove the bolt ,use a 10mm wrench .When you pull it out it will have a round prong sticking out of it, it a magnet, clean it off with a rag
If its a three channel ABS the sensor will be on the rearend housing .
