Default KYB AGX Shock/strut question

I found a set of kyb agx shocks for sale with fairly low km's for 300 bucks for all 4.
However, the seller mentioned that they aren't exactly a direct replacement unit.

My car has 158,xxxkms on the clock, pure DD as long as there's no snow with 85% street and 15% track.

The *** end is pretty soft...fueling up I can feel it slowly get lower as it fills, its starting to squeak on minor bumps and is and getting rough in town on medium sized bumps which is why I'm looking for something better WITHOUT lowering the ride height....I like to keep the exhaust UNDER the car instead of behind it.

Can someone explain to me what else is needed to make these shocks fit?
Or budget wise am I better off looking at a different brand if I have to buy some other pricey parts just to use these unit?

I didn't want to spend a whole pile of $$$, but I don't exactly want Princess Auto quality either...

Shocks aren't going to help a sagging rear end, the springs hold the car up and the shocks are just there to help control the springs movement.
As far as making the AGXs work, if they are the right part for the car they should just bolt in without any modifications.

I've got KYB non-adjustables in the rear and the adjustable AGX up front. No problem with fitment at all. Been installed in my DD z28 ragtop for at least 4 years now with no complaints. I agree with the other poster that the sagging is probably the springs, not the shocks.

The deal sounds shady. Plus like mentioned above, are you really gonna go and save 80 bucks to get a used set... that the guy said isn't a direct replacement? Hell if you look around hard enough online, you could probably find a brand new set for 300 on sale or pretty close

I have 'em for $379.99/set most any day you want. No with free shipping though... but then again, you know where to find me... I'm not a vaporware E-bay seller.
