Default v6 struts on a v8?

ive noticed that for some reason the v6 fbodys sit much lower than the ls1s do. im really not sure why this is the case, but there is so much room between the tire and the body on v8 fbodys that it just looks awful. does anyone know if the shocks and springs on the v6s can be used on the ls1 fbodys?

1) we don't have struts

2) The difference is the spring rate in the front. The shocks and rear springs are the same AFAIK. I always thought that the reason my V6 didn't look quite so 4x4 is because my springs have sagged some over the 12 years and 147k miles it has been on the road.

Im not sure if they do sit lower or not, I know my car is certainly a 4wd truck right now. I may have some v6 shocks and springs for sale here soon.

Can't believe I'm saying this.. but I'd probably cut my v8 springs before I'd put on v6 springs. At least then you'd increase the spring rate a little rather than lowering the rate.
