Default Tips on removing stock a-arm ball joint?

I'm about to replace my a-arm ball joint as the boot was nicked and the grease leaked out. The service manual states to drill out the studs that hold it in place. It looks like it'd be easier to use a Dremel tool to cut the ends of the studs off so I can remove it.

For those that have replaced them, what did you do?

I haven't done this job on an F-body but you can generally cut the rivets off with a cold-steel chisel under the heads and some good hammer whacks.
