Any lower control arms alter strut location?

I'm wondering if any aftermarket front lower a arms allow a different mounting height for the struts. I blew both my konis in a week running a 1/4 inch lower than sportlines. Instead of hacking my upper mounts to gain some travel at lowered heights I'm wondering if there is a better way .

did you have bump stops? what spring rates?

Yes I had bumpstops on and springs In front were 550.

Take a look at the custom valved bilsteins from Unbalanced Engineering.
I'm not aware of any lower front A-arms for our cars the have the lower shock mounts in a lower position.

You might go to a true coil over shock spring package like an Affco. Then you can adjust ride height with the spring.

His issue is lack of shock compression travel, so unless the shock (any) is shorter in compressed height then the issue is still there.

So he has 4 options:

1. Bring the front ride height up.
2. Move the shock upper mount point up.
3. Move the shock lower mount point down.
4. Use a slightly shorter shock.
