Default Koni 3/4's - How to...

Just got my new Koni 3/4 shocks and I must say, real nice pieces to look at. Too bad their tucked up in the wheel well hidden

My question to you guys is, which setting would be ideal for street performance but good handling? I've searched the forums and most of the time I see "5 turns blah blah". I'm new to the adjustment shock area so just wanted to see if I could get more insight on what to do. I don't mind the ride being harsh at all. Currently I have Sportlines with blown stock DeCarbon shocks. You can just imagine what that's like. Now that I have these, I want wicked sick handling. I matched them up with a set of Strano springs as well.

Dude, your avatar is freaking hilarious...

Your other questions, call Strano, if that's where you bought them.

Go to http://www.koniracing.com/autocrosstune.cfm and http://www.koniracing.com/rrtuningguide.cfm , there's some good tuning info there.
FYI, focus on Adjusting the Rebound Damping Control since that's all you can adjust.
IMO, start at full soft F&R and work up from there to find what works best for you.

I like the rears pretty soft......just try some different settings and back the front off 3-5 whatever "Feels" the best. Thats why you can adjust them

I started with "2 sweeps" in the front, and "1 click" on the rear. Since I haven't had a lot of spare time, or ambition to crawl under the car, either, I've left the rears at that adjustment, however, I think I'll switch them back to "full soft"" one of these days....
