Default UMI K-Member questions...

I will be getting a UMI K-Member here soon and I wanted to know which brand stainless headers did they use that fit the best? Any other issues with the k-member as well. Just want to find a permanent setup that will be long lasting and high quality.

Hello,

Thanks for considering a UMI Performance K-member and I will be glad to give you some options. The only header we have ever had a problem reported with was the LPP headers. I haven't personally experienced this but a customer reported it hitting. All other header brands will be just fine. We have used Kooks, American Racing, Jet Hot and Pacesetter... all with great clearance.

Hope that helps!
Ryan

just to add what Ryan from UMI mentioned.running thier kmember on both cars.a4 has edelbrock stepped headers and m6 has macs mids soon to switch to edelbrock stepped.no problems here.only thing I did was enlarged the holes just a bit for the motor mounts for the bolts to slide right in.
