Default Tech....anyone tried 4 link like this....

I'm wanting to know if anyone has tried running a ford 8.8 with the factory 8.8 upper control arm design on an f body.

the "frame rails" on each side of the car is a direct shot almost to the 8.8 upper control arm mount. Seems like you could plate the "frame" and weld tabs there and use some custom upper control arms, and ditch the tq arm. I'm pretty sure you would have to go under the axle or not run rear a tailpipe to clear the UCA, but in my mind it seems like a good idea in theory.

this would be a extremely easy way to run a cheap and strong 8.8 rear.

I'm looking for an opinion from other fabricators here. I'm not sure how strong the rail is on these cars, seems like a good place if well thoughtout and the car had welded in SFC's
