Default Car stuck in the air....????

I jacked my rear up to take my 2 rear tires off to see how bad my 315's are rubbing on the inner wheelwell.....after inspecting and reinstalling the tires, I went to let the car down and it stuck damn near in place....I figure the shocks are stuck, the car rarely gets jacked up....can I try tapping on the shocks or do I really need to remove them? I guess if I need to take them off, I should just replace them anyway, they're stock bilsteins. My car is lowered so any suggestions on a good stiff rear shock that will keep the tires off my wheelwell?
I checked my springs and it doesn't look like they've come out of their groove, any suggestions on what else it may be?

The rim is probably caught on the bump stop. Take the rims off and reinstall them when the car jacked up by the center of the rear end to take some of the slack out of the suspension

YUp, like posted above, rim/tire might be caught on bumpstop or Spring might not be seated up top. Possibly sitting on the cone up there and not 100% in place

Ha, I had the same thing happen to mine after I had it on the lift... I had to pull tires and set the car down on a jack with some weight on it..

To install 315's and 11" wheels the rear AXLE must be supported BEFORE installing the tires. You've smashed the bump stop into the wheel or sidewall.

The bump stop really does not need to be modified. Unless you like doing full airborne jumps.

+1 on the bumpstop. I had a set of iForged Aeros I was selling off my SS, and the guy that came to look at them wouldn't buy them because they rubbed the bumpstop at full droop.

Well guys, I put some weight on it and it dropped into place. I took it for a short spin and there doesn't seem to be any damage, maybe I should take the tires off and check things out....Thanks for all the input!!
