I know the sale is over now...but right before I submitted my purchase on a panhard bar relocation kit last night, I stumbled across some info here on tech about it needing to be modified for use on a lowered car. I did not see any info about this displayed on UMI's site at all. I searched tech and didn't find much info about an alternate part number for a lowered car, only a vague comment about telling "them" that you have a lowered car. Can you shed some more light on the subject Ryan? I'm ready to pull the trigger on one.
By the way, I'm on Strano Springs and running an S60...looking to have 3" true duals installed over the axle.

Hello Charles,
There won't be any modifying needed for a lowered vehicle, it will still fit and work on a lowered car. The downfall to this item with a vehicle being lowered is it does place the panahrd bar and upper panhard bar support closer together. Since our relocation kit is basically an upper panhard bar support with clearance built in it will not sit closer to the panhard and could possible hit the panhard bar under almost full suspension compression. We have incorporated as much room as possible into the relocation kit but we still had to maintain the correct exhaust clearance. With the relocation kit installed the panhard bar will hit it just as the suspension travels to hit the bump stops. Which most cars shouldn't hit there bump stops too often. Its also a light hit and will not cause damage, hope that helps.
Thanks!
