Default Need front K-member for Firebird 98' - which models k-members will fit?

Unfortunately technical inspection forces me to change front k-member because my is damaged. Problem is, there's not many Firebirds in the country, and much less for details. So what else will fit? Camaro LS1? or 3.8L is same? maybe older models k-member is the same?
Thanks!

If you have an LS1, any 1998-2002 LSx K-Member should work. V6 has a different shape.

I really like the Spohn and BMR K-Members, I'm actually trying to figure out which one I want more right now haha

If you want a stock one you can find them on eBay for pretty cheap, I think somewhere in the $150 range.

The LT1 K-members are different from LS1. Same with the V6 ones. Go to UMI or Brute Speed or any of the other vendors on here and you can select the part by your vehicle's year and engine.

inspection says that any aftermarket k-member won't pass as well...
So I need only LS1 k-member... not good

I'd look for a wrecked LS1 98-02 Camaro or Firebird (preferably totaled out in the rear end) in your Country or close by. Bob

Good luck and hang in there, that has to be hard to pay much at all for a stock K Member. Bob

Thanx!

I wonder though, why some K-members are advertised for 93-02, resp. for LT1 and LS1?

The k-member itself will fit the 93-02 frame, but it depends which motor it fits as well. That one is for LS1 motor mounts but it will fit the frame of any f-body car.

It will bolt to the frame, I can't say if the part that goes under the oil pan would need to be modified or not, and the mounts definitely would. But in your case, that might open up a few more option if you can weld or get it modified, since you don't have a lot to choose from.

k-member not allowed to be modified... I notched mine and got busted... I could make new mounts probably, but k-member cannot be modified

98+ 3800 k-member won't fit for sure? there are couple of V6's for parts...
