Question any stiffer springs with same height as stock springs?

i have the LGM Hypercoils now with the Bilisten HD, i really like the ride and handeling of the combo, however, i got longtube headers installed and the damn thing scrapes on every bump, so i was thinking of selling the hypercoils and reinstall the my old factory springs, but was wondering if there is any after market springs that handle better than the stock ones but not lower the car at all (same height as stock)? maybe SLP springs, what do you guys think?
thanks

Default 1LE Springs

Alot of people rave about the 1LE springs. They're not supposed to lower the car any.

You could get some adjustable front spring perches. Ground Control Suspension Systems has them. (530) 677-8600.
Since you like the ride now, it'd be great to keep the same springs.
Good luck.

i'm just wondering why you want to go to all of the trouble switching out springs, and not turn that 4x4 monster into a sport's car at the same time?

i wish i could keep the car low, but the damn headers and ORY are scraping on every speed bump , that's why i wanna go back to stock or similar height springs

Where can you buy the 1LE springs? SLP hasn't returned my email yet. They only post the entire 1LE package on their website @ $2000. I'm waiting to hear if they will separate. Anywhere else?

Default RE: Where Can I buy 1LE springs.

Try Searching for Sam Strano on Google. (stranoparts.com) I think he's a sponsor here, but can't find the link on the right>>>>

OR LMPerformance, they're definately on the right side of the screen and they're having a sale right now on SLP stuff which, (now don't hold me to this), includes 1LE springs.

Hope this helps.

Tony.

I've got a 99 1LE and the ride hight is no lower then stock. The ground control stuff won't work with a stock replacement spring. You have to have special race type springs.

The 1LE springs are available from GM. Do a search for 1LE and someplace should have the part #.
