Default Has anyone used iRacing to help/learn how to drive

I didn't get to go the EVOschool last year because my damn car wasn't done but I hope to go this year.

I keep hearing about how good iRacing.com is(moderators I refer to this site for my questions, not to pimp the site)and I am wondering is there anything on there that would help someone drive better in the real world.

I drive a car for about 8-10 hours a day and am always looking to get better. I know there are guys on this board that could drive circles around me.

Thanks for any help.

My roommate was actually telling me about this simulator yesterday. It seems to be pretty sophisticated and accurate. Unfortunately, the simulator can only be used/played online which can cause it to become pricey over time, but ultimately, you get what you pay for and by the look of things, its definitely top notch.
