Default Koni DAs made the rear sit higher... pics

Why does the car look like it sits so high in the back? Koni DAs and strano springs.... The before pics are with stock shocks and strano springs. Am I thinking this because I went from 28" tires on 15s to these 315/30/18s?

Before...

After

Next time just get out a tape measure and measure the height from the ground to the skirt right in front of the wheel well before freaking out.

To comment on the topic directly, shocks basically have nothing to do with ride height. At least not in the rear. In the front they have the spring perch, so that does affect ride height.

You went from a 28" tire to a 25.44" tire.

These guys have the correct answer. Changing tire diameter by that much makes a huge difference.

I guess I was just so used to that 28" tire filling up the wheel well.

When I look at other peoples cars with koni shocks and strano springs on street tires mine looks like it sits a little higher in the rear. Oh well. I thought shocks may of had a tiny part to do with how high or low a car will sit. Guess not. Handles good now!

Not gonna do the heater hose mod. I like the back to sit higher than the front not lower.

Probably a combination of your 28" tires and sagging stock shocks.

He's talking about clocking them...twisting them in their perches. It does have some effect, but not much.
