Default Cryo Rotors better?

It's about time for new front rotors. I have Powerslot rotors now and they have been great so am staying with them. Is the Cryo treated rotors worth the extra money? Anybody have experience with any Cryo rotors? I do track (HPDE) the car so brake performance is critical.

My honest opinion is that unless you are using a very aggressive compound like a race pad or fleet duty pad on a fleet vehicle you won't get much of a return on the added cost. Cryo has no preventative effect on warping so all the heat you pump through them on your HPDE days is going to take it's toll regardless. The main benefit comes from increased wear life which can be beneficial for the above scenarios, not so much for someone with a daily driver/weekend warrior.

I do plan to start running a more aggressive pad for track days and switch to ceramic for the rest of the time. I have been running HP+ all the time and they are hard on the rotors.
