Question rag joint illiminator thickness?

Hi peeps. Im gonna make a rag join illiminator while Im doing front end crap on my car (a 95 bird) and Im wondering what the thickness of the spacer is? Im gonna make mine out of aluminum, and I can figure out the holes with the old pieces, but I want to know what the thickness of the part is.

THANKS!
(a search didn't give me this information)

Why not just get an LS1 shaft??

Sorry I can't help with the spacer, but it may be a better solution. Plus its a little smaller in diameter

just measure the thickness of the stock rubber rag joint. its the same exact dimensions as the aluminum one that unbalanced offers. Autozone also sells stock rag joints in there misc parts section of the store. you can get dimensions from there also.

Because I dont have an LS1 shaft to modify to fit, and I have scrap aluminum to make the spacer. Free beats buying stuff anyday. And exact same performance.
