Personally I'd rather buy a used name brand than a
new mystery cheapo. I paid $80 for my Hotchkiss
adjustable, used. And it's well more stout than the
ones on eBay.
There's no use for rod ends on a Panhard (other than
the other end being threaded, for free). Give me quiet.

Simple things fail too. There are "only" two welds
but you care a whole lot about them never failing.
Saddle welds on thin wall tubing is not my favorite
thing to see. It makes the welder's skill and
consistency critical. And you know what, about
Mr. Taco de la Ebay, in that regard?
