Do I still "need" SFC's if I install an 8 point cage?

Default Do I still "need" SFC's if I install an 8 point cage?

Just what the title says. I'm really not interested in cornering, and I'd prefer to avoid the extra weight of BOTH the SFC's and cage.

Nope. The cage will tie all the points of the SFCs and then some!
