Default Stock torque arm broke

Well my stock torque arm broke. It look to me like wheel hop was the cause. I have alot of wheel hope. I was driveing along and got on like normaly do, 1st gear to about 5k rpm shift to 2nd and take it to about 5k then shift to 5th and drive normal. Well this time when I got on it started to shake and vibrate at about 3.5k in fist gear. I got under it to see what went wrong and found this.
Now that I'm going to get a new one I'm not sure on which one to get. Go with a short or a long full size one with relocation brakets. I hear both bad and good stuff about both.

I'm also going to get the LCA relocation brackets to stop the wheel hop.

That sucks. UMI makes great products. Me and my friends pretty much swear by them. If you are going to be running the car hard alot I would probably get the tunnel mount torque arm. I hear BMR has some good stuff too. Either way its around a 300 dollar fix, but worth the money imo.

If you do a lot of street driving and any handling events I recommend the full length torque arm. The shorter arms are designed more for drag racing but are also streetable.

I hope that helps!

Well I put up a poll and the full size T/A won by a huge margin. I order my full size adjustable T/A. I will order the T/A relocation bracket later. My parts finally came in yesterday. Today I installed my LCA relocation brackets. Wow no more wheel hop just straight wheel spining. The best part the tires dont spin as much, I can feel it getting traction sooner. Saturday I am going to install my new torque arm.

I didn't know which one to get BMR or UMI T/A. I was leaning more to the UMI one but it came down to $. I found BMR's for less $, Sorry UMI.
