Exclamation squeak/grind after brake install HELP!!!!

and i find this....

one of those stupid metal clips isnt seating in all the grooves...im goin to have to bend it in like 3 places for everthing to site flush...

Either the rotors are not the correct diamater(the caliper would have been hard to put on) or one of your caliper mounting bolts came loose and allowed the caliper to rotate and make contact with the rotor(happened to me once while driving, very scary!).

the two groves are from the rotor rubbing the caliper...the rotor is the exact same size as what i pulled off...i measured...i only removed 2 bolts to take the caliper off..and put the two back in...nothing moved...everything is lining up...

You didn't take the caliper off the bracket? Then you might have damaged a shim/hardware during the install

also...i put some wheel bearing grease where the grooves are...and went for a drive...came back and the grease was still there...perhaps the grooves were already there and i never noticed when i bought everythign for the swap...i still believe that retardly shaped metal clip has somethign to do with the noise

my guess would be the clip, juat a quick queation, you did clean all wheel bearing grease and check that none of the greese got hot and ran down onto the rotor,?
