Help! Mushy Brake Pedal After Replacing Everything
So im in the middle of trying to sell my car and figured, hey, ill put new brakes all the way around and change the brake fluid. Not too expensive and not too difficult (or so I thought) and makes it more appealing.
anyways, I get done changing everything, and bleeding everything from each caliper, put in synthetic DOT3-4 valvoline brake fluid, and my pedal is super mushy so I figured it was the master brake cylinder...so I changed that....and now the pedal is STILL mushy. Exactly like it was before I changed the brake cylinder.
I have NO clue what this could be. The car stops, and damn well, but the pedal will still float all the way down to the floor after the car stops. Am I missing something?

Try re-bleeding the system again. If your doing it old school and have a buddy make sure you have good communication while bleeding. Like make sure he closes the bleed valve before you let the pedal up from the floor, because if you don't you will introduce air into the system. This can cause a mushy pedal and poor braking performance.
