Ok... I had the back as soft as possible, took it for a ride on a rough road... turned it to the most firmest setting, took it back down same rough road.
I've got the backs 1 full round away from the softest setting.
However, I haven't toughed the front. They seem fine, but I'm wondering if I should experiment w/ the fronts like I did the back or just leave them alone. It seems to be a PITA to adjust the fronts.

I realize this is an old thread, but maybe somebody knows the answer to my question.
I'm on my second set of Konis, and I haven't been able to budge the adjustment wheel on either pair. On this, the second set (first set broke), I've tried moving the adjustment wheel both mounted/installed and prior to installation. I pretty much just bend my allen wrench.
Any idea why that might be?

The directions that come with them are very very basic. They're simple illustrations regarding installation, and maybe one image showing how to adjust the style of shock that goes in the rear of these cars. I contacted Koni last year, and got nowhere.
I'm in the middle of an engine swap, so I have the whole K member out of the car. Good opportunity to get this solved. If/when I get this resolved, I'll post the answer.

Is it safe to assume you tried moving the adjuster both to the left and right and it would not move in either direction? Perhaps there is a defect, but it seems unlikely you would run into the same issue on two sets of shocks.
I just put some Koni Sport SA shocks on my car and they were fairly easy to adjust, at least before the shocks were mounted. They are designed to be adjustable once installed. I used an Allen wrench, but anything you can get into the holes would more than likely work.
This video may be helpful, specifically starting around the 1:25 mark.
