portland, awesome...I roll through every other weekend...my GF lives in Comstock Park and I'm in Jackson, we take turns traveling for the most part. I think I'm breaking out my SS on sunday and coming to GR for the night since there is no rain forcasted...as for Al's car, can't wait to see it...although I probably already did at last years Berger Show.

You've got a long list of mods there! Heads and cam are in my very near future!

Default Sub Frames Installed!!

Well, let's begin with the results, since that is the only bright spot...They made a huge difference in how the car handles and how it rides, I was very impressed with their effectiveness.

As for the install...Al, Joe, and myself decided to make a write up on it, and it was quite easy...

1) Stop, go to slpengineering.com, and spend the extra $80 for a set that is designed for an easy install AND effectiveness.

These would have been on their way back to Jegs if it wasn't for Al's and Joe's experience, and Al's tools and lift. We actually had to heat up and bend wrenches to fit into the frame to hold a nut in place because there was no way to get a normal wrench in there.

It took just over 4 hours with 3 people, all the tools you'd ever need, and a lift that you can stand under.

Thanks a ton guys.

Monday night I'll post a new thread with some pics and a better write up.

thanks again.

I'm telling ya, that thing is a life saver.

Where did you get those stainless steel wipes again? and which clutch did you recommend again?

I know I know, short term memory...

The wipes are P.B.Gast a company in Grand Rapids Al could tell you where to buy them.

I recommend the Mcleod twin disc but it's $$$.

I'll make sure and track you down at Berger this year, assuming I don't see you before then.
