Remove rear parking brake pads

I need to remove the rear parking brake pads to get to some bolt holes to secure my newly installed rear end. how do I remove the parking brake pads? I don't see an easy way to do this. Damn haynes manuals suck.

Muscle it, :judge: they won't break. the top is held on by a little clip. Just lift the hole thing up until it pops off the clip. then push it down as far as you can and pry it the ends off the adjusters. Then slide it over the axles. Going back on is the same.
