Hey folks,

I am doing a Rear Drum brake to LT1 Disc brake swap on my 1997 Firebird. I have all the parts except for the e-brake cables, that go from the front of the vehicle to the rear calipers.

My question - are the LS1 parking/e-brake cables the same as the LT1 ones? I have only been able to find people selling LS1 cables, on this forum and others. Are they fully swappable between the two? Or will I need specific LT1 cables?

You will need a specific LT1 style.

I ordered one from the dealer last year, 55 bucks I think.
