In my experience, cheap rotors warp and rust when good ones wont. I've had good luck with Wagner parts, and they aren't too expensive.

X2 for Wagners....nevermind the bottom of the barrel crap...the wagners are alittle more but they are way thicker at the hub.

I've used Autozone rotors for a few years now. Technically, no issues. But they do rust easily and look like crap. They have a 'lifetime' warranty on rotors and pads, so keep track of the date that you buy them. I went in for brake pads a month or so ago, and the tech behind the counter offered up that I could also replace the rotors. So I ended up with a new set of rotors and pads at no cost. Got to love that!!

On the flip side, my rear rotors are from NAPA. They must be of better quality because they don't rust like the Autozone ones.

Brakemotive is a sponsor here and have some good quality stuff. They have a sell on pads and drilled and spotted rotors for 165 shipped. I have it on my car and love em. They are zinc coated so no rust. They also offer non drilled or spotted rotors if you prefer.

I would get some quality coated blanks, like Bosch QuietCast rotors -- just put these on my RS, which goes through midwest salt/winters -- should help retard the rust...

The crap rotors the previous owner had were pitting from crappy metal -- looked like craters!

No prob. Let us know what you think. I've only heard one person complain and they seemed to be one of those ...never happy....people.
