Good Lord that's a little lower than I'd like to see. Then again, my turn downs are at more of a 45, and I also have Spohn Solids so my exhaust is TIGHT to the body.

The roads here just suck. Massively.

The only other reason I'm leery of lowering the car is a few of the alignment shops told me if the specs aren't in the computer, they can't align the rear, since it wasn't adjustable from the factory.

I say horse ****, but I know nothing about alignment.

funny thing is I haven't even gotten front aligned since lowering earlier this year. I don't drive the car alot so just havent got it done yet. Yeah the roads are pretty decent here and I drive alot of highway also. I see corvettes at shows that are riding on the ground and they make it okay. Just gotta know how to drive and where not to go.

I can get around just fine. If I turn the tips outward more and get aftermarket TA then it'll go up another inch. I'm used to low cars so doesn't bother me and I don't DD it.

Thanks for the pics, I do like that stance. Did you state how much it dropped you? If not would you mind stating the amount of drop you got from the springs?

not exactly sure as I did shocks first and used lower perch with hose mod in rear and then I got springs without hose mod and upper perch now. I'd say rought 1.2 inches max. Car is perfectly level side to side with the front being just a tad lower than the rears for a great stance.

Love my strano's i don't perticularly like the ride with qa1 shocks but i know i shouldnt have bought them. The front is a coil over and i eye balled the height from the old struts in the front and ended up with a rake i love it the way it is now i would hate to make it any higher. But i do need different shocks.

front is very low but that i could fix if i wanted. The qa1's in the front are adj. i just like the look and since i bumped them up a couple turns (same ride height as pic above) i haven't scraped on anything. I used to have to back into my moms drive way at a certain angle or the y-pipe would drag but hasn't been an issue as of late.

So your fronts are qa1 coilovers and the rears are on strano springs? Im going to be looking into dropping my car soon and I like how your front sits.

Thanks

Do a good long search before you decide, if you care about ride quality or handling, a drag shock like QA1s are not the way to go.

I just tried to look up the info to confirm, but if I can recall correctly one side is a bit stiffer. It might be the rears that the Vogtland purples are stiffer and the fronts are softer than Stranos (whites)

Actually.. are your springs purple? They all appear purple on the main website. Just curious

yep mine are purple. actually looks really good with the yellow konis lol
from what i remember correctly and its been a minute so correct me if im wrong, Stanos i thought were 550 where vogtlands are 450. eitherway both are excellent springs and complement f-bodys quite well. depends on how you want your car to handle. also depends on whats going on with the rst of your setup like how big are you swaybars, how stiff are your shocks, stock vs aftmarket suspention parts, poly/rod/roto/rubber mounts, its all dependant on eachother. for me i can live with the slight softer springs. i also have BMR 35/25 swaybars keeping me planted as well. My Konis are set at 3 clicks from full soft front and full soft on rears. car handles smoother then stock setup ever did.

It's the angle. I also have slightly larger rear wheels.
