Default question about rear drilled and slotted rotors

do they make you accelertate faster because of the weight difference over stock rotors and because of the rotating mass on the rotors make anyone run any faster times

yes, but will you notice , no .

just like put larger rotors on that weigh less than stock and you will lose power , reason why the mass is out further and even though it weighs less the mass out further takes away .

I went with titanium valve stem caps and it improved my 60 substantially, so drilling AND slotting the rotors should really help.

Good thread man, gave me a chuckle.

You should try the driver delete mod for weight reduction. Because you sir are mentally light weight.

Drain all the blinker fluid out, you don't need it at the track, just the street. Should shed a few lbs.

You really don't need rear brakes. the front does most of the braking so if you just delete them all together. that should make you run some significantly faster times

I heard the new thing at the track this year was to only run the front driver brake, and delete the passenger side brake.

All that rotating mass off the rear axle and weight reduction, people are saying they're seeing seconds drop off their 60' times. Entire seconds, it's nuts!
