In every 4-link set-up I have seen the upper bars are directly above the lower bars.

Would it make a large difference if the upper bars were in towards the pumpkin more? Roughly 12 inches.

I was planing on putting the lower bars in the stock location and the uppers on a cross member conected to the rear subframe.
