Default MS4 cam, now brakes wont hardly work...HELP!!!

So, I installed a MS4 cam in my 4th gen last fall now the brakes are so weak due to loss of engine vacuum, that i cant barely stop the car.

My question is what do you guys recommend doing to address this....Manual brake master?....vacuum reservoir?....electric vacuum pump?

Im open to any and all suggestions?

An ms4 will make it feel funny......try taking it up to like 4000 rpms and try to hit the brakes......they should feel mostly normal........if they don't look for a loose hose......I have a 236 238 112 Lsa and they only feel different when I try pumping them at a stop.....or just a tiny bit different when below 1800 rpms

Check booster and look for leaks , check condition of brake system. I have a ms4 in a 2002 z28 and have zero problems with brakes or pedal feel.

New rotors brake pads? increase idle, look/listen for any vacuum leaks. If it almost stalls at a stop it could be all in the tune.

My old tune would try to die when coming up to a stop sign fast and stabbing the brakes..... rpms would drop and it would take a second to recover.

i should have specified this is really only an issue at speeds above 90 mph... drag strip and when playing with porsches at high speeds, vacuum is good at idle the problem occurs at higher rpms

Might to look into upgrading you rubber brake caliper lines.
They are probably swelling up which will make them feel as if your having a brake fade/spongy pedal
